Sometimes I’m also an editor for very selective projects like this one. Nuyorican Basquet is a full-length documentary about the 1979 national basketball team where the vast majority were Puerto Ricans born or raised in New York City. The team qualified to play in the 1980 Moscow Olympics representing Puerto Rico, but the political situation on the island did not allow them to fulfill their dream.
